I Love You -- (God)

I got this off a teaching DVD from Joyce Meyer Ministries. There was no warning about piracy and the DVD was not encrypted, so I think that this is a message that Joyce Meyer Ministries would want anybody to hear, even on YouTube. The first time I saw it, I imagined God was saying these words directly to me, and tears streamed down my face as I let it sink in. It still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.

Reel Wisdom

I made this video because I love films and I think there is great wisdom inherent in the film medium. This video represents some of the best film wisdom I could find, edited together as a single, coherent piece of advice.

In creating this video, I wanted to focus on a few key themes, while featuring as many films as I could. As a result, Reel Wisdom features a broad array of films, from action/adventure and sci-fi films, to dramas and traditional/CG animated films in order to show how all genres of film have something important to say.

There are a lot of Star Wars lines, I know. I included those mainly because I grew up watching Star Wars, and I love all the great lessons found in the films. And obviously, I couldn't make a video with all the wisdom from films, because it would be really long and rather incoherent. This video contains wisdom from only 40 films in a world where hundreds of films are made every year.

Earthlings (Full Movie)

Earthlings is a feature length documentary about humanity's absolute dependence on animals (for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific research) but also illustrates our complete disrespect for these so-called "non-human providers." The film is narrated by Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix and features music by the critically acclaimed platinum artist Moby.

With an in-depth study into pet stores, puppy mills and animals shelters, as well as factory farms, the leather and fur trades, sports and entertainment industries, and finally the medical and scientific profession, Earthlings uses hidden cameras and never before seen footage to chronicle the day-to-day practices of some of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely entirely on animals for profit. Powerful, informative and thought-provoking, Earthlings is by far the most comprehensive documentary ever produced on the correlation between nature, animals, and human economic interests. There are many worthy animal rights films available, but this one transcends the setting. Earthlings cries to be seen. Highly recommended!

Landward The Rock Dust One

There is a vital key to healthy abundant food in the simple act of adding rock dust from a volcanic rock to the soil we grow our food in. The actual process is complex, increasing bacteria in the soil, and availability of certain minerals which do become depleted over time. Pioneering research is going on in the UK. As we are all mineral deficient and many diseases are routinely cured by nutrition alone remineralising the soil should be top of the agenda of an uncontrolled media. Here is a piece about some true heros of our times.

The Story Of Bottled Water

The Story of Bottled Water, released on March 22, 2010 (World Water Day) employs the Story of Stuff style to tell the story of manufactured demand—how you get Americans to buy more than half a billion bottles of water every week when it already flows from the tap. Over five minutes, the film explores the bottled water industrys attacks on tap water and its use of seductive, environmental-themed advertising to cover up the mountains of plastic waste it produces. The film concludes with a call to take back the tap, not only by making a personal commitment to avoid bottled water, but by supporting investments in clean, available tap water for all.
